Cancel Your Trial or Plan
Cancel in Settings > Account with Cancel Trial or Cancel Plan, not in chat. When access ends, what stops and what stays, whether you keep your blog, how to keep your leads, the refund policy, YC-deal accounts, and stopping Revnu's emails.
You cancel in Settings > Account (revnu.com/dashboard/settings?tab=account), not by messaging Revnu. Revnu keeps working until the end of your trial or the month you've paid for, and you're not charged again.
Cancelling because Revnu is set up on the wrong email? You don't need to. Your sign-in email and the mailbox Revnu sends from are separate. Connect the mailbox you want to send from, disconnect the old one, and keep your account. See how to switch your sending address.
How do I cancel my free trial?
Open your account settings
Sign in at revnu.com, open Settings and choose the Account tab.
Press Cancel Trial
It's the small link at the bottom of the card with your name and photo.
Confirm
The window asks Cancel Your Free Trial?. Pick a reason if you like. It's optional. Then press Cancel Trial.
You won't be charged. Revnu keeps working until the trial's end time, then stops. If you'd rather it stopped now, say "pause" to Revnu too. Changed your mind? Press Keep My Plan on the same page before the trial ends.
Note
If you come back later, the trial isn't reopened. Restarting charges the first month straight away. See Come back after cancelling.
How do I cancel my paid plan?
Press Cancel Plan
In Settings > Account, press Cancel Plan at the bottom of the card with your name and photo.
Pick a reason
The window asks What's Making You Cancel?. Pick the reason that fits best and press Continue. On a paid plan the reason is required, so Continue stays greyed out until you pick one. The Anything we should know? box is optional. Your answer goes straight to our founders.
Take or skip half price
You may see Stay for Half Price Next Month?. Press Take 50% Off Next Month to stay, or No Thanks to carry on. The half price covers your next invoice only, then the price goes back to normal. It's offered once per account, and not if your plan already has a discount.
Press Cancel on and the date
The last screen, Before You Go, Talk to a Growth Engineer, offers a free 15-minute call (Book a 15-Minute Call). To finish, press Cancel on followed by your end date.
The window then says Your Plan Ends on and the date. A banner on the page shows it too, with a Keep My Plan button that undoes the cancel any time before that date.
Why can't I cancel in chat?
Cancelling changes your billing, so only you can do it, signed in, in Settings. If you ask Revnu to cancel, it points you to Settings > Account. The plan stays active until you press the button there.
My first payment after the trial failed
If the first payment after your trial didn't go through, you've never paid, and Stripe is still retrying it, cancelling takes one step. The window asks Cancel Your Plan?, the reason is optional, and Cancel Plan ends the plan at once and clears that payment, so you're not charged for it. No "paused" email follows.
If Stripe has already stopped retrying, the button may set the plan to end at the period end instead. Write to support@revnu.com about that payment.
When does my access end?
Free trial: at the trial's end time. Settings > Account shows it.
Paid plan: at the end of the month you've paid for. Settings > Account shows "Access until" and the date.
A first charge that failed: straight away, as described in My first payment after the trial failed.
Until then, Revnu still sends what you've approved and carries on with its plan. To stop sooner, tell Revnu "pause" as well. That cancels email still waiting to send and makes new work wait for your approval. Live ads need their own step. See Pause or stop everything.
What stops when I cancel, and what stays?
When your access ends, Revnu stops:
Sending email and LinkedIn messages, and watching for replies
Publishing posts
Running ads. Live campaigns are paused on the ad platform
Checking how you show up in AI answers
Sending daily updates
If you message Revnu after that, you get one reply a day saying it's paused.
What stays:
Cancelling deletes nothing. Your leads, Memory, sequences and posts stay on your account, and you can still sign in and see them.
Posts already published on your site or your Revnu-hosted blog stay published. See Do I keep my blog if I leave?
Emails that were queued are held, not deleted.
There's no set period after which a cancelled account is deleted. If you want your account and data deleted, ask for it. See Delete your account and data.
Warning
About a week after Revnu stops, we cancel the sending inboxes Revnu bought for you. Their mail is deleted and can't be recovered, and their domains are left to expire. We also disconnect your Gmail, Outlook and LinkedIn from Revnu. Your own accounts aren't touched. If you come back, you connect them again. See Come back after cancelling.
Do I keep my blog if I leave?
Yes. Revnu's terms say you keep ownership of everything you give Revnu, and they claim no ownership of the posts Revnu writes for you. When you cancel, Revnu stops writing and publishing new posts. Posts already published keep serving today, on the hosted blog and through the Content API, because neither checks your plan. That's how it works now, not a promise for the future.
So there's no lock-in on the words, but plan the move before you go:
Save a copy. A developer can download every post through the Content API, or write to support@revnu.com and ask for a copy.
Move them to your own site. Publish the posts on your site, keeping the same addresses (slugs) where you can.
Redirect the old addresses. If the blog was on your own subdomain, point that subdomain at your new site. The revnu.sh address can't redirect for you.
The keywords you rank for go with the pages. Keep the same addresses or redirect them, and the rankings usually follow. See The hosted blog.
Can I take my leads with me?
Your leads stay on the Leads page after you cancel, so you can still look them up. There's no export button today. Two ways to get a copy:
Through the API. Make a token with the
leads:readscope in Settings > Developers, and a developer can download every lead with List leads.Ask us. Write to support@revnu.com before or after you cancel and say what you need.
Can I get a refund?
Fees already billed aren't refunded, except where the law requires it or, on Managed, where your order form says so. Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep using Revnu until the end of the period you paid for. This is in section 5 of our terms.
If you think you were charged by mistake, write to support@revnu.com. A person looks at it and decides case by case.
I'm on the YC deal. How do I cancel?
YC-deal accounts don't have a cancel link in Settings. Write to yc@revnu.com, or press Talk to Us About Your Plan in Settings > Account, and we end it for you. See YC and startup program deals.
Managed accounts work the same way: press Talk to Us About Your Plan, or email support@revnu.com.
How do I stop Revnu's emails?
Payment-failed and paused emails stop once there's nothing left to pay. Cancelling a plan with a failed first charge ends it, and no "paused" email follows.
The "add a card" email on a trial that started without a card doesn't come once you've cancelled.
Welcome emails from your first five days don't stop when you cancel. Each has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
Anything else: reply to the email. Replies reach Revnu's founders.

Frequently Asked Questions
Open Settings > Account and press Cancel Trial or Cancel Plan. A trial cancels in one step. A paid plan asks for a reason, may offer half price on your next charge, then offers a short call before the final Cancel button.
