Working With Revnu

The Review Screen: Every Card and Button

What each card in Review means and whether Approve sends straight away, why there's no approve-all and the fastest way through a pile of cards, what site fix cards do, where list results go, how long cards wait, where your past decisions are, and how to approve from your phone.

Review is the list of everything waiting for you. The page is called Things That Need You.

On a card that sends, publishes or spends, the main button does that thing as soon as you tap it, and its label says what will happen. Done only tells Revnu you handled a task yourself, and Got It only clears an update. Neither sends anything.

Where do I find what's waiting on me?

  • Review in the sidebar. The Waiting tab shows each card, with the count in the corner. All Clear means nothing is waiting.

  • The Needs You card on Home counts the same items.

  • When Revnu mentions a card in Slack or iMessage, its message carries a link to that card.

Revnu doesn't send a separate notification for every card. It mentions named items in its messages to you, where you last talked to it.

How do I deal with a card?

  1. Open Review

Click Review in the sidebar. You land on the Waiting tab.

  2. Open a card

Click a card, or press J. The card opens and shows its buttons.

  3. Read what it asks

The title says what the card is about. Approval cards show the exact email, post or change that will go out.

  4. Decide

Tap the main button on the right. Its label changes with the card, such as Approve & Send or Approve & Publish (see what each button does). Or use one of the other buttons:

    • Comment opens a box: "Tell the agent what to change". Write it and tap Send Feedback. Revnu revises the card and brings you a new version.

    • Typing in a card's own text box. Some cards other than questions have a box too. Once you type in it, the main button becomes Send Feedback. Tap it or press Enter and Revnu gets your words instead of an approval.

    • Dismiss says no. You can add a reason ("What should the agent do differently?") or tap Skip Reason. Revnu reads the reason.

    • Snooze hides the card for 24 hours.

Tip

On a computer, Enter approves the open card, X dismisses, S snoozes, T opens Comment, and J and K (or the arrow keys) move between cards.

What does each kind of card mean?

Card What it asks Main button Does the button send or publish?
Approval A draft, copy or change that goes out when you approve it Named for what happens, such as Approve & Send Yes
Question A fact Revnu needs before it can carry on, such as a price Send Answer (type your answer first) No. Revnu uses your answer.
Choice Two or three options where the call is yours Approve (pick an option first) Revnu acts on the option you picked
Review, follow-up or setup Something you do yourself: check a judgment, reply to someone, connect an account Done No. It tells Revnu you did it.
Update A result to read, with nothing to decide Got It No

Questions, choices, follow-ups and setup cards stay until you deal with them, because Revnu is waiting on your answer.

A choice card shows its options as buttons. Pick one, then tap Approve:

A question card has a box for your answer. Type it, then tap Send Answer or press Enter:

Approve A plan or proposal from Revnu, such as a list to work through or a next step it wants your yes on Revnu gets your yes and carries on. The button itself sends, publishes and merges nothing.

Does Approve send it straight away?

Yes. Approving does what the card says: an email sends, a post publishes, a campaign launches. It then shows on the Done tab, marked Sent, Published or Queued to send.

A few cards work a little differently:

  • LinkedIn invites, messages and InMail send inside working hours and your daily limit. Approved outside those, the card moves to Done as Queued to send and goes out on its own when LinkedIn allows. See LinkedIn limits.

  • Questions and choices send nothing. Revnu records your answer and carries on.

  • Google Business Profile posts: copy the text into your profile, then tell Revnu it's live.

Can I approve many cards at once?

Review goes card by card, so you always see exactly what each one does, and it's built to be fast. The quickest ways through:

  1. Use the keyboard. Press J to open the first card, read it, press Enter to approve or X to dismiss, then J for the next one.

  2. Approve the sequence, not its emails. On Leads, pick the campaign, click the N Steps pill next to it and approve the sequence. With Start Sequences on Just Do It, the Pro default, its emails then send for every lead on it without becoming cards. See What Revnu asks before it acts.

I have a pile of cards waiting. What's the fastest way to clear it?

  1. Approve the sequence behind the emails, as above. That stops new email cards from that sequence, and with Start Sequences on Just Do It, its emails already waiting in Review send too.

  2. Dismiss what you don't want sent. Press X on each, or open it and tap Dismiss.

  3. If the rest are one-off emails you're happy with, switch One-Off Emails to Just Do It in Settings > Agent. Every email still waiting then gets a send time, the next weekday at 9am in your time zone and at least 4 hours away, and goes out then unless you dismiss it. The card shows the time.

Warning

Do step 2 before step 3. Once One-Off Emails is on Just Do It, every email left waiting will send.

Replies to prospects, spend and booking links always wait, so those stay cards whatever you switch.

Where can I see things I already approved?

Open the Done tab in Review. It lists every card you decided, newest first, with what happened after:

  • Sent, Published, Posted or Sent on LinkedIn: it went out.

  • Queued to send, or Approved, not live yet: you said yes and it's on its way.

  • Dismissed: you said no.

Open a card to see what you approved, your answer or your reason. Ask Revnu About This starts a chat message about that card. Show More loads older decisions.

The work itself lives where it belongs: emails and replies on Leads, blog posts in Visibility > Posts, ads on Ads.

Can I approve cards from my phone?

Yes, two ways.

  1. The dashboard. Review works in your phone's browser. The main button sits full width at the bottom of each card.

  2. One-tap links. When Revnu tells you in Slack or iMessage that something is waiting, the message carries a revnu.com link. It opens that one card without signing in.

From a one-tap link you can approve blog posts and page edits, answer questions, pick an option, ask for changes, and dismiss or reject.

A link can't send email or replies, send on LinkedIn, post a Reddit comment, order a gift, approve an ads budget or launch, or approve buying inboxes. Those cards show Open in Dashboard instead. So if a link gets forwarded, nobody can use it to send a message in your name or spend your money.

Links last 14 days. After that the page says the link has expired, so open Review in the dashboard. A link preview in Messages or Slack never approves anything. Only a tap on a button does.

How do I clear everything before my trial ends?

  1. Open Review on the Waiting tab and check the count.

  2. Approve your first sequence: on Leads, pick the campaign, then click the N Steps pill next to it. Nothing goes out by email until you do.

  3. Get a way to send. Connecting your own Gmail or Outlook lets email go out the same day. Inboxes Revnu buys need your Approve & Set Up, then warm up over several days. See Connect Gmail or Outlook.

  4. Answer every question card. Each one is something Revnu is stuck on.

  5. Do the setup cards, such as connecting an account, then tap Done.

  6. Check the Done tab to confirm what went out.

How long your trial lasts depends on your offer. See How the free trial works.

Questions about cards

How long do cards wait before they expire?
  • Drafts and review cards expire after 7 days with no action. Snoozing a card or getting a new version starts the 7 days again.

  • Blog post cards, sequence cards and the sending-inbox setup card never expire.

  • Questions, choices, follow-ups and setup cards never expire.

  • Updates close on their own after 2 days.

An expired card leaves Waiting and doesn't appear on the Done tab. If you still want it, ask Revnu to bring it back in chat.

A card with a time on it is one your approval settings let through. It goes out at that time unless you approve it sooner, comment on it or dismiss it.

What do I do with a site fix or page gap card?

A card listing fixes for your site, such as from a site audit, is advice until your site's code is connected. Nothing on the card changes your site, and no button on it merges anything.

  • Your site's repo is on GitHub. Connect it in Connections > Learn Your Business > GitHub. Then say in chat: "make a PR for the first fix on that card." Revnu opens a pull request on a branch named revnu/ and sends you the link. You review it and merge it on GitHub. Revnu never merges and never pushes to your main branch. See Get posts as GitHub pull requests.

  • No GitHub. Make the change yourself, or hand the card to your developer. On a site builder like Wix or Webflow, ask Revnu where each setting is. See Get a site audit.

Tap Done or Approve when you've dealt with it. That tells Revnu, and nothing else.

Can I approve cards from Claude, ChatGPT or the API?

Most of them, yes. LinkedIn invites, LinkedIn messages and gifts are the exception. Approving those from Claude, ChatGPT, the CLI or the API is refused. A LinkedIn card in a chat app may still show an Approve button, but pressing it fails. Approve those cards here in Review. See MCP server setup.
