What Buying Signals Can Revnu Find Leads By?

Example requests for finding leads by buying signal with Revnu. Target companies that are hiring, just raised money, run a certain tool, or have people posting about your problem, then stack signals to find buyers who need you this week. Where each intent signal comes from, including waterfall enrichment from third-party B2B data providers.

A buying signal is something that shows a company needs you now, not just that it fits on paper. Describe the signal in plain words and Revnu searches for it, checks it on each company's own pages, and saves every lead with the evidence on its Signals tab.

Find companies that raised money in the last 60 days and are hiring for the role we help with. Show me the signal on each lead.

Try this in Revnu

Revnu is built on buying signals

Most lead lists stop at industry and size. Revnu goes further: it searches hundreds of millions of people and more than 40 million companies for the moments that make a company ready to buy. A round that closed last month. A job post for the exact role you help. A new tool in the stack. A founder posting about the problem you solve. A crowd of people commenting on your competitor's launch.

Revnu's own database carries each company's industry, size, location, funding, investors and technology, and each person's role, career, schools and location. Live sources add the freshest signals on top: job posts by the day, funding rounds by the date they closed, LinkedIn posts by the week, and the ads companies are running right now.

For anything Revnu doesn't hold in-house, it uses waterfall enrichment: it asks third-party B2B data providers one after another until the answer turns up, then saves it back into its own database. Then it reads each company's own website, careers page and news before it decides the lead fits, so every signal on a lead is one you can check.

Signals you can ask for

Signal What Revnu can match
Hiring Job titles a company is hiring for, words in its job descriptions, and how recently the job was posted
Funding The round, such as seed or Series A, how recently it closed, its amount and the total raised
Investors Named investors, such as "backed by Sequoia", and Y Combinator batches
Technology Tools a company runs, such as Shopify, HubSpot or Salesforce, with the job posts and pages that prove it
Ad spend Companies running LinkedIn ads on a topic right now
Company shape Industry, what the company does, headcount, headquarters country, city or region, and founding year
People Job title, seniority, city or country, past employers and school
LinkedIn conversations People posting about a topic in the past day, week, month or quarter, posts that mention a company, and everyone who reacted to or commented on a specific post
The company's own website Anything a visitor could read there: locations, pricing, services, team size, open roles

Hiring

A company hiring for a role is telling you what it's about to spend money on.

Find B2B software companies in the UK that posted a job for their first sales development rep in the last 60 days. I want the founder or head of sales.

Find companies whose job posts mention "Salesforce migration". I want whoever runs revenue operations.

Find hospitals in Texas advertising travel nurse roles this month. The director of nursing.

Find e-commerce brands hiring a performance marketer. They're about to spend on ads and need help now. Head of growth or founder.

Funding

Fresh money means fresh budget, and new hires to equip.

Find seed and Series A fintech companies that raised in the last 90 days. The CFO or a founder.

Find companies that raised a Series B this year from Index Ventures or Accel. The VP of people, because they're about to hire fast.

Find climate tech startups in Europe that closed a round since July. Leave out anyone above 200 staff.

Technology

What a company already runs tells you whether you plug in, replace something, or compete.

Find Shopify stores with 11 to 50 staff that also use Klaviyo. The head of e-commerce.

Find companies that use HubSpot but are hiring a Salesforce admin. They're mid-switch. I want the RevOps lead.

Find agencies that use Webflow, with 2 to 10 staff, in Australia. The founder.

Ad spend

A company paying for ads on a topic has budget and a target it's trying to hit.

Find companies running LinkedIn ads about sales forecasting right now. Show me their ads, then find the head of marketing at each.

Investors and accelerators

Who backed a company tells you its stage, its network and often its next hires.

Find companies in Y Combinator's latest batch that sell to finance teams. A founder at each.

Find companies backed by Seedcamp or LocalGlobe that have raised at least $5 million. The head of operations.

People and their careers

Search on the person, not just the company.

Find heads of growth in London who used to work at Revolut or Monzo.

Find founders of seed-stage companies who studied at Imperial College London. We're alumni too, so open with that.

Find engineering managers in Berlin at companies with 51 to 200 staff.

What people are talking about on LinkedIn

Someone posting about the problem you solve is the warmest stranger there is.

Find people at B2B software companies who posted about cold email deliverability in the last month.

Here's a LinkedIn post from our competitor's launch. Add the people who commented on it to Leads, and leave out their own staff.

Find founders posting about hiring their first salesperson.

The company's own website

Revnu reads each company's site before it saves the lead, so you can ask for anything a visitor could see there.

Find dental groups in Texas whose website lists three or more locations and offers online booking. The person who runs operations.

Find accounting firms in Manchester that list R&D tax credits as a service. A partner.

Find SaaS companies with fewer than 50 staff that don't show prices on their website. The founder.

Stack signals for the sharpest list

The best lists combine two or three signals. Each one cuts the list down to companies with a real reason to talk to you now.

Find Series A or B software companies in the US that raised in the last six months, use HubSpot, and are hiring account executives. I want the VP of sales. Leave out anyone in my customer list.

Find UK property management firms with 11 to 200 staff, hiring for a lettings negotiator, whose website shows more than one office. The managing director.

Find people who used to work at Gong and now lead sales at a seed-stage startup in New York.

Add a line about why the signal matters, such as "they're about to spend on ads", and Revnu uses it in the first email too.

Make it a weekly feed

Signals go stale fast. Ask for the same search on a schedule, and Revnu brings back the companies that are new to it each time:

Every Monday, find 20 new software companies that raised a seed round in the last 30 days and add them to the Seed campaign.

See Run work every day or week.

Where the signals come from

Revnu works from what's public, so you can check every signal on a lead yourself:

  • Hiring, funding and tools: job posts, funding rounds, the software a company runs and its own website.

  • What people say in public: reviews of a competitor, Reddit threads and LinkedIn posts about the problem you solve. Ask for "people who complained about [competitor] this year" and Revnu finds them and the companies they work at.

  • People, not just companies: Revnu searches people by job title, seniority, city, past employer and school, so freelancers, solo founders and small teams count too. For consumers, Revnu reaches them with search posts and ads.

  • Anything not held in-house: waterfall enrichment from third-party B2B data providers fills the gap, and every answer is saved back into Revnu's own database.

Revnu never invents a signal. If it can't confirm one on a company, the lead doesn't claim it.
