Get Started With Revnu
Sign up, check what Revnu learned from your website, pick Slack, iMessage or the dashboard, and get Revnu's first plan. Works on a phone, inside Facebook or Instagram, and without Slack or an iPhone.
It takes about five minutes, and Revnu starts work as soon as you finish.
Go to revnu.com/sign-up. Press Continue with Google, or type your work email and press Email Me a Code. There are no passwords.
Your account belongs to your email. Sign in with the same email on any device and you land in the same account.
Signing up from Facebook or Instagram on your phone
Continue with Google can't finish inside Facebook's or Instagram's own browser. The emailed code works fine.
If you tapped a Revnu ad and see Open Revnu in Your Browser (on Android, Open Revnu in Chrome), either:
Stay in the app. Tap the small I'm Already in My Browser link near the bottom (I'm Already in Chrome on Android), type your email, press Email Me a Code and type in the code.
Or move to your phone's browser. Tap Open In Browser (or Open In Chrome). No button? Open the ••• menu: bottom right in Instagram on iPhone (Open in external browser), top right in Facebook on iPhone (Open in Safari) and on Android. Or tap Copy Link and paste it into your browser.
If you press Continue with Google in the app, you get an Email Me a Code Instead button that takes you back to the code. Use the same email in both places and it stays one account.
Give it your website
On Your Website, type your domain (for example
acme.com) and press Continue. Revnu reads your site for about a minute. You can leave the page while it works.Check what it found
Did I Get This Right? shows what Revnu learned, one row per fact, with the pages each came from.
The rows are What You Sell, Who Buys It, Where Your Buyers Are and How Much Does One Customer Pay You?, plus anything else it found worth keeping, such as your pricing, customers or proof points.
Row is right: press Yes.
Row is wrong: press Fix and retype it.
Row says Couldn't tell: it shows a question instead, like "Who actually buys it today?". Type the answer in the box. Short is fine.
Then press Looks Right. This becomes Revnu's Memory, which you can edit any time in Settings > Memory.
Tip
Be specific in a Fix. "Heads of finance at UK accounting firms with 10 to 50 staff" works much better than "accountants". If you sell to two groups, name both.
Pick your offer
Put Revnu to Work shows your offer. The small print around the button tells you which one you have:
It says What you get "Stripe asks for a card to start. $0 today." A free trial with a card on file "No card needed to start." A free trial with no card. Revnu may ask for a card once it shows its first results "Billed monthly, cancel anytime." No trial. Pro is $99 a month Ad spend is billed by the ad platform, never by Revnu. How the free trial works has the terms.
Choose where Revnu lives
On Where Should It Live?, pick Slack, iMessage or both, then press Continue.
Slack: press Add to Slack, approve it, then type
/invite @Revnuin your channel. The page moves on by itself once Revnu is in. Details.iMessage: enter your mobile number (check the country), then text Revnu's number. iPhone only. Details.
No Slack and no iPhone?
You can still finish on any phone or computer, Android included:
Pick Slack or iMessage. It doesn't matter which.
Press Continue.
Tap the small grey Use the Dashboard for Now link, below Change Channel.
The link only appears after Continue, and only once you've pressed Looks Right on the business review. You then talk to Revnu in the dashboard chat, and can connect a channel later in Connections > Talk to Revnu. There's no WhatsApp, SMS or email channel to Revnu.
Get your first plan
Press Go to Dashboard (or Open Slack or Open Messages). Within a minute or two Revnu sends its first plan: a goal with a number ("Aiming for 30 new customers this month"), the channel it's starting with, and why. Then it starts work.
Wrong channel? Say so in one line ("only Google Ads has ever worked for us, do that") and it switches. If you skipped Slack and iMessage, the plan is in the chat on Home.
Anything that needs your say-so lands in Review. Next: Your first day with Revnu.
Questions about sign-up
What if some of my buyers are private individuals?
Name both groups in Who Buys It and say which is which, for example: "Law firms that refer cases to us, and people who were injured at work."
The businesses get found and emailed. Revnu finds the businesses and the people who work at them, and writes to each one.
The individuals find you through blog posts, Google, AI answers and ads, which Revnu writes and runs for you.
If all your buyers are individuals, Revnu puts its work into content and ads, the channels where individuals look for products like yours. What if I sell to two different groups? covers how to split the work.
What does Yes on Where Your Buyers Are do?
It keeps the row as shown, and those places become the default market for every lead list Revnu builds. If it says "UK", Revnu looks for leads in the UK. If it names somewhere you don't sell, press Fix and type only the countries, regions or cities you want. For one list you can still say "US only for now" in chat. A specific request wins over the default.
What is the price question for?
How Much Does One Customer Pay You? asks for a rough band, from Under $100/mo to $10k+ or yearly. Revnu saves it in Memory as what a customer is worth, and uses it to pick the right channels and pitch for your price. It doesn't change your plan, your price or what you pay Revnu.
If Revnu found a price on your site, it picks the matching band. That's often your cheapest plan, so change it if most customers pay more.
Pick Under $100/mo and the screen adds a short note linking to Who Revnu fits best, which covers how Revnu grows products at every price.
Is Revnu right for a low-priced product?
Yes. For a lower-priced product Revnu leans on the channels that bring buyers in volume: blog posts that rank on Google, answers in ChatGPT and other AI assistants, and ads to your site. If your buyers are private individuals, that's where it puts the work. Pro is $99 a month, and your ad spend goes straight to the ad platform. What Revnu can do covers every channel.
