A founder I'll call Priya runs a seven-person company selling HR compliance software. Last winter she signed up for an AI SDR. Setup took a week: she uploaded case studies, described her ideal customer and connected three mailboxes. Over the next six weeks the AI researched and emailed about 3,200 HR managers. It booked five meetings. Two were with companies of fewer than ten employees, which her product doesn't serve. One became a customer.
Was that good? For her price point, one customer roughly covered the quarter's subscription, so it wasn't a disaster. But when she read the replies she found the real lesson: the HR managers who answered kept asking the same question about a regulation change, and the one who bought had first found her through a blog post about it. The AI SDR had done its job well. The job was just a narrow slice of where her customers were coming from.
That is the frame for this list. Below are seven AI SDR tools worth considering in 2026, with what each costs on its pricing page this month, who it suits and its honest limit. If you want the longer argument about what these tools can and can't do, it's in AI SDR tools: what they do and why one channel isn't enough.
What AI SDR tools actually do
Strip the branding and an AI SDR automates the work of a sales development rep. It builds a list of prospects matching your ideal customer, usually from a contact database the vendor bundles. It researches each one (their company, role, recent news, hiring) and writes a personalized first email or LinkedIn message. It sends from warmed mailboxes, follows up on a schedule, sorts the replies and either answers them or hands the interested ones to a human, often booking the meeting directly into a calendar.
The good ones do this well. What used to take a full-time rep a week of list building and writing now runs in the background, and the research behind each message is usually better than a rushed human would manage.
What they share is scope. Every tool below works one motion: outbound to people who haven't heard of you. They scale a message you already have. They can't tell you whether your buyers respond to cold outreach at all, or whether the budget would do more in search or ads. And most still assume someone at your company owns the motion: defines the customer, approves the plays, reviews results weekly.
What to look for
Price shape and commitment. Monthly, quarterly or annual, and what one prospect or one send actually costs.
Where the leads come from. A bundled database, credits, or your own lists.
Channels. Email only, or email plus LinkedIn, and whether calls are AI or human.
Autonomy and approval. Whether you can review every message before it goes, and whether that is the default.
Who has to run it. Onboarding time, and whether the vendor expects a named owner on your side.
Deliverability. Whose domains and mailboxes it sends from, and who manages warmup.
The 7 best AI SDR tools in 2026
1. Revnu
Revnu isn't an AI SDR, and it's listed first because for a lot of people searching this phrase it's the better fit. An AI SDR runs outbound. Revnu runs the whole growth job, and outbound is one lane of it. You connect your website, Gmail and LinkedIn. It researches your business, finds the companies that fit and the right person at each, verifies their work emails, writes each message from that research and shows it to you. On your approval it sends from your inbox or your LinkedIn account, reads the replies and follows up. The same account runs paid ads on LinkedIn, X, Google, Reddit, Microsoft and TikTok, writes search pages and publishes them after you approve, and tracks how ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity answer questions about your category. In Priya's case, the regulation question her prospects kept asking would have become a page and an ad, not just a reply. Every growth tool needs someone to run it. Revnu doesn't.
Best for: founders without a sales or growth hire who don't yet know which channel their customers answer on.
Pricing: from $99 a month, and it starts with a free trial. Lead data is included, so there are no credits. Ad spend is billed by the ad platforms.
The honest limit: it is not a contact database you can browse and export, and not a CRM. It makes no calls and sends no SMS. Every send waits for your approval, so outreach moves at the pace you review it. On outbound depth alone (inbound voice, signal engines, enterprise CRM sync) the dedicated AI SDRs below go further.
When not to pick Revnu: you have already proven outbound works, you have a sales team and a CRM, and what you need is more volume in that one channel. Then a dedicated AI SDR is the right tool.
2. 11x
11x sells two "digital workers". Alice is the outbound one: she sources prospects, researches them, writes multi-channel sequences, handles replies and books meetings, sending from 11x-managed Gmail mailboxes with domain setup, warmup and rotation included, and syncing both ways with your CRM. Julian handles inbound, qualifying leads in real time across phone, chat and SMS. 11x is sold through sales and aimed at B2B teams with an existing outbound motion. Our longer comparison is Revnu vs 11x.
Best for: funded B2B sales teams with a CRM, an outbound motion and someone to own the tool, who want outbound and inbound handled by one vendor.
Pricing: Growth starts at $3,750 a month billed annually, for up to five users and 2,000 new prospects a month (its FAQ puts this at $36,000 a year); Pro and Enterprise are custom (pricing page, October 2026).
The honest limit: the price and the annual commitment put it out of reach of most early companies, and onboarding takes two to four weeks depending on the plan. It covers outbound and inbound handling only.
3. Artisan
Artisan sells Ava, an AI BDR. She finds leads from a bundled database of 250M+ B2B contacts, writes and sends campaigns in your reps' names from your own sending domains, handles replies and books meetings. A dialer gives your reps a brief before each call and a follow-up after. Ava is autonomous by default, but you can require approval before sending, lock tone and calls to action, and set banned phrases. See Revnu vs Artisan.
Best for: B2B sales teams who want email outbound run end to end, with a CSM-led rollout and Salesforce or HubSpot sync.
Pricing: quoted on request; plans are sized by lead volume, mailboxes and dialer seats, from Team (about 2,500 leads contacted a month) through Scale and Enterprise (pricing page, October 2026).
The honest limit: no public price, so you start with a sales call. Its outreach centers on email, with calls left to your reps.
4. AiSDR
AiSDR's agent, Ami, runs email from your Gmail or Outlook and LinkedIn connection requests, messages and InMail, drawing on a 300M+ lead database and syncing both ways with HubSpot (and Salesforce on the top plan). It is notable for having a genuinely small entry plan you can cancel anytime.
Best for: small B2B teams who want an AI SDR on email and LinkedIn without an annual contract.
Pricing: Solo $250 a month, month to month, for 200 researched contacts; Explore $900 a month and Scale $2,500 a month on quarterly contracts (pricing page, October 2026). You can build campaigns before paying; there's no stated free trial.
The honest limit: 200 contacts a month on Solo is a small test, and the larger plans move to quarterly commitments.
5. Reply.io (Jason AI)
Jason AI is the AI SDR inside Reply.io, a long-running sales engagement platform. It builds your target profile, sources contacts from Reply's live database, generates sequences, personalizes each message and drafts responses, running in copilot mode (you review) or autopilot. Because it sits on top of Reply's multichannel sequencer, it can use email and LinkedIn in one cadence.
Best for: teams that already like Reply's sequencer, or want an AI SDR with a mature multichannel engine underneath.
Pricing: AI SDR Starter from $500 a month billed annually ($800 monthly) for 1,000 active contacts; Growth from $1,500 a month annually; Enterprise on request (pricing page, October 2026).
The honest limit: the lowest price requires annual billing, and cost scales with active contacts.
6. Amplemarket (Duo)
Amplemarket is an all-in-one sales platform, and Duo is its AI agent. Duo watches for buying signals such as website visits, people evaluating competitors and job changes, combines them with your CRM data and drafts personalized sequences that can include email, calls, social steps and voice notes in your voice. It drafts replies too, and you approve them. The platform bundles contact data, a dialer and deliverability tools.
Best for: sales teams who want signals, data, sequencing and an AI copilot in one product, with a human approving the work.
Pricing: Startup $600 a month on an annual term for two users; Growth and Elite are custom; all plans include a free trial (pricing page, October 2026).
The honest limit: it is built for sales teams with reps, and the entry plan is an annual commitment.
7. Instantly (AI Sales Agent)
Instantly is best known as a cheap, high-volume cold email sender, and since March 2026 it has an AI Sales Agent. Give it your website and it finds matching leads in Instantly's 450M+ contact database, writes and sends personalized multi-step emails, follows up and books meetings, either on autopilot or with you approving each step. A separate reply agent answers interested leads.
Best for: founders who want to try an AI SDR cheaply on email before committing to anything bigger.
Pricing: included in bundles from $94 a month (Starter, $85 billed yearly), with generated leads drawing on credits (pricing page, October 2026).
The honest limit: it is email only, and like any volume tool it works only as well as the target profile and message you give it.

Where this leaves you
If outbound already works for you and you have a sales team, pick by budget and depth: 11x or Artisan at the top, Amplemarket or Jason AI in the middle. Ask each for the onboarding plan and who on your side they expect to own it.
If you want to test whether AI outbound works for you, start small and month to month. Instantly's agent or AiSDR Solo will tell you within a few weeks whether your market answers cold email. Send fewer, better messages; you can see what a researched list looks like first with the free B2B lead generation tool.
If your buyers live on LinkedIn more than in their inbox, pick a tool that does both channels, and read up on LinkedIn outreach automation before you connect your account.
If you don't yet know which channel your customers come from, an AI SDR makes the guess for you, and it always guesses outbound. That is the situation Revnu is built for: it tests outreach alongside search, ads and AI answers, follows the evidence, and every send waits for your approval. Buying a tool for each channel means you become the integration layer between them. Priya's best customer came from a blog post her AI SDR never knew existed.
