Sign Up for Revnu From an AI Agent
Tell Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or another assistant "Set me up with revnu.com" and it creates your Revnu account, researches your business and hands you the checkout. You sign in and pay yourself.
You can create and set up a Revnu account without opening the dashboard. Connect Revnu to the assistant you already use, then ask it:
Set me up with revnu.com
The assistant walks you through setup with Revnu's setup_* tools. It does the typing; you make the decisions. Signing in, confirming what Revnu learned about your business, and paying are always yours.
Connect Revnu to your assistant
Add the MCP server at
https://revnu.com/api/mcp. The commands for each app are below. The first time it connects, a browser opens where you sign in or create your Revnu login and pick what the assistant may do.Give it your website
The assistant asks for your website and passes it to Revnu. Revnu checks the site exists, then researches the business, which takes about a minute.
Review what Revnu found
The assistant shows you what Revnu learned, row by row, each with its source: what you sell, who you sell to, what to never say. Correct anything wrong. What you confirm becomes Revnu's Memory of the business. A good assistant never confirms these for you.
Pay on Stripe's page
The assistant gets a checkout link and gives it to you. It opens Stripe's own page, which shows the trial and the price before you enter anything. You type the card details there; the assistant never sees them.
Start Revnu
Once the trial is running, the assistant can start Revnu's first work straight away. If it doesn't, Revnu starts on its own 15 minutes after the trial begins. Its first drafts land in your review queue.
Connect it in your app
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user revnu https://revnu.com/api/mcpThen run /mcp inside Claude Code, pick revnu and choose Authenticate. Leave Agent: Message ticked.
codex mcp add revnu --url https://revnu.com/api/mcp
codex mcp login revnugemini mcp add --transport http --scope user revnu https://revnu.com/api/mcpThen run /mcp auth revnu inside Gemini CLI.
Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced and turn on Developer mode. Create a connector named Revnu with the URL https://revnu.com/api/mcp and OAuth as the authentication.
Use the install link for your app on revnu.com/agents. It works in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile.
To connect Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI in one go:
curl -fsSL revnu.com/install | shIt only connects the apps and adds the Revnu skill. Nothing is created or paid for until you sign in. Every option, with troubleshooting, is in MCP Server Setup.
From a terminal instead
The CLI runs the same setup without an assistant in the middle:
npx @revnu/cli setup --json --website acme.comSee Install the CLI.
Look before you make an account
An assistant can research a website and show you the plan Revnu would follow before any account exists. It gets a claim link to hand you. See Preview a Plan Without an Account.
For people building an assistant
The full recipe an assistant follows is at revnu.com/setup.md. It drives setup from Setup Status, which always names the stage (website, researching, review, payment, start or done) and the exact next step.
Three rules keep it safe:
One login holds one business. Check
account.websitebefore you start, so you don't set up a second business inside someone's existing account. The person confirms the review. Show every row and its source, and save only what they agreed to.
Never handle card details. Hand over the checkout link and let the person pay on Stripe's page.
Frequently Asked Questions
The assistant handles every step except three that stay yours: you sign in to Revnu, you confirm what it learned about your business, and you pay on Stripe's page.
