Ask Revnu for cold email and it does the whole job: it finds the buyers, writes a short sequence in your voice, sends it from an inbox you connect or one it buys, and stops following up the moment someone replies. You read the copy before the first sequence goes out.

## What do founders ask for?

- "Start outbound to the leads you found yesterday."
- "Email 30 a day from my Gmail. Keep it short and don't pitch in the first line."
- "This sounds like a robot. Rewrite it like I'd say it to a friend in the industry."

## How does Revnu run it?

1. **It gets a sender ready.** The fastest path is your own Gmail or Outlook, connected in Connections > Reach People. On Pro, Revnu sends up to 50 emails a day and 20 an hour from each Gmail or Outlook inbox you connect. If you'd rather keep cold email off your main domain, Revnu proposes lookalike domains and inboxes, buys them once you approve, and pays up to $100 a month for them on Pro.
2. **It researches the leads.** Each person gets a reason to hear from you, found on their company's site or in recent news. See [finding leads for a niche market](/use-cases/find-leads-for-a-niche-market).
3. **It writes a short sequence.** A first email and a few follow-ups, built from your Memory and the research on each lead. You see it on Leads: pick the campaign, then click the Steps pill next to it.
4. **It sends and paces.** Approved email from your own inbox on Pro leaves within minutes. Bought inboxes send on weekdays inside a sending window in your audience's time zone, a few emails a day each: 3 by default, never more than 5. More inboxes means more email.
5. **It stops on reply.** When someone replies, their follow-ups stop and the reply lands in your Inbox. See [handling replies and booking calls](/use-cases/reply-handling-and-booking-calls).
6. **It tests what's losing.** If a sequence isn't getting replies, Revnu can try a replacement on a small batch of new prospects, inside the Experiment Budget you set in Settings > Agent.

## What waits for your approval?

- **The first sequence, always.** You read the copy and say yes once.
- **New sequences after that,** if Start Sequences is set to Ask Me First. On Pro it starts as Just Do It.
- **One-off emails** outside a sequence, which ask first by default.
- **Replies to prospects and anything that spends money,** such as buying domains and inboxes. These always wait, whatever your settings say.

Saying "pause" or "ask me first" in chat cancels any email still queued and puts approvals back on.

## What can't Revnu do here?

- **Some mail providers can't connect.** Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook and Microsoft 365 work. IONOS and Hostinger mailboxes can't connect.
- **No exact send times.** Own inboxes on Pro send within minutes of approval. Bought inboxes are paced, so "send at 9am sharp" isn't something Revnu can promise.
- **No CRM sync.** Replies and statuses stay in Revnu's Inbox and Leads pages. There is no HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive sync.
- **No sending to unverified addresses.** An email that fails verification is held back, even after you approve it.

## What will you see?

- **The Steps pill** next to each campaign on Leads opens its sequence, steps and status.
- **Dashboard > Leads** shows each person moving from Drafted to Sending, Sent and, when it works, Replied.
- **Inbox** shows replies from every connected mailbox.
- **Revnu's daily update** tells you what went out and what came back, but only on days something changed. The weekly roll-up arrives on Monday.

Open and click tracking is a switch in Settings > Agent. It only works once tracking is set up for your sending domain.

## Frequently asked questions

### Which inbox does Revnu send from?

Your own Gmail or Outlook inbox, connected in Connections > Reach People, or lookalike-domain inboxes Revnu buys for you after you approve the purchase. On Pro, Revnu sends up to 50 emails a day and 20 an hour from each Gmail or Outlook inbox you connect. Bought inboxes warm up first, then send a few emails a day each (3 by default, never more than 5) on weekdays.

### Do I have to approve every email?

You approve the sequence, not each email. The first sequence on your account always waits for your yes. After that the Start Sequences setting in Settings > Agent decides whether a new sequence waits, and once a sequence is live its steps send on their own. One-off emails outside a sequence ask first by default, and replies to prospects always wait for you.

### How do I make the emails sound less like AI?

Ask for changes on the review card or in chat, in your own words, and Revnu rewrites the sequence. Put phrases and claims you never want used in Settings > Memory > Never Say; Revnu checks every send and post against that list. Revnu keeps what it learns from your corrections in Memory, so later drafts start closer to your voice.

### Can I stop outreach once it has started?

Yes. Tell Revnu "pause" or "ask me first" in chat. That cancels email still waiting in the send queue and Revnu tells you what had already gone out. Follow-ups to a person stop on their own when they reply.
