# Workflow and Watch Recipes: 70+ Things to Hand Revnu

> Ready-to-send recipes for Revnu workflows and watches, grouped by goal. Fresh buyers every morning, competitor and market watching, tenders and company filings, reply handling, search and AI answers, ads and weekly reports. Each one says what it does and gives the exact sentence to send.

Canonical: https://revnu.com/docs/workflow-recipes
Last updated: 2026-11-07

Every recipe here is something Revnu runs today. Copy the sentence into chat, change the words in it to fit your business, and Revnu sets it up and sends you a link. A **workflow** runs on a schedule. A **watch** runs every few minutes and acts the moment something happens.

> Every weekday at 8am, find 10 B2B software companies that announced a seed or Series A round in the last 7 days, find the founder at each with a verified email, and add them to a Fresh Funding campaign.

## How these work

- **Your words become the steps.** Revnu writes the workflow from your sentence, and you can edit any step on its page under **Workflows**. See [recurring work](https://revnu.com/docs/recurring-work.md).
- **Schedules** are a time of day, daily, on chosen weekdays, or monthly on a date. For several runs a day, add one workflow per time.
- **Watches** check public pages and your own Revnu numbers, from every 5 minutes to once a week, and stay silent until something changes. See [watches](https://revnu.com/docs/watches.md).
- **Your approval settings decide what goes out.** Emails, LinkedIn messages and posts follow the switches in **Settings > Agent**. Spending money, replies to prospects, booking links and gifts always wait for your yes. See [approvals](https://revnu.com/docs/approvals.md).
- **Every run reports back** with what it found and did, in Slack, iMessage or the dashboard.

## Find new buyers every week

### Fresh funding prospects

New money means new budget. Revnu brings back companies that just raised, with the right person at each.

> Every weekday at 8am, find 10 companies in our ICP that announced a seed or Series A round in the last 7 days, find the founder or head of sales with a verified email, and add them to the Fresh Funding campaign.

### Companies hiring for the role you help

A job post says what a company is about to spend on. Revnu reads the post and uses the pain it describes in the first line.

> Every weekday at 8am, find startups hiring for security roles, filter to our ICP, find the founder or hiring manager, and write a short first email that mentions the job post. Queue it for my approval.

### Companies that just changed their pricing

A pricing change means a team is rethinking growth right now.

> Every Monday at 9am, find self-serve B2B software companies that changed their pricing page in the last 7 days, find the head of growth or product with a verified email, and save each to a Recent Pricing Change campaign with why it fits.

### New sales leaders in their first 90 days

A new leader reviews the tools and vendors in their first quarter. Revnu saves the appointments it can confirm.

> Every Monday at 9am, find people who started a VP or Head of Sales role in the last 30 days at US B2B software companies with 50 to 500 staff, and draft a short welcome-to-the-role email for each.

### Champions who changed jobs

Someone who bought from you before is the warmest lead at their new company. Revnu checks where your past champions work now.

> On the 1st of every month, check where the people who championed us at our customers work now, and draft a note to anyone who moved to a new company in our ICP.

See the [champion job changes play](https://revnu.com/docs/play-champion-job-changes.md).

### Lookalikes of your best customers

> On the 1st of every month, take our five newest customers, find 20 companies that look like them by industry, size and stack, and add the buyers to a Lookalikes campaign.

See the [closed deal lookalikes play](https://revnu.com/docs/play-closed-deal-lookalikes.md).

### Target accounts that open a new role

Revnu keeps up with the job boards of the companies in your **Leads**, so a fresh opening becomes a reason to write today.

> Every weekday at 9am, check the companies in our leads for new job posts in sales or marketing, and move any that just opened one to the top with a note on the role.

### Companies that add or drop a tool

What a company runs tells you whether you plug in or replace something. Revnu sees tools appear and disappear on a company's website.

> Every Monday, find companies in our leads that added or dropped HubSpot in the last week, and tell me which ones to email first and why.

### People who engage with competitors on LinkedIn

> Every Monday at 10am, collect the people who commented on our three main competitors' LinkedIn posts last week, keep the ones in our ICP, leave out their staff, and add them to Leads with a draft email. Don't send.

See the [competitor LinkedIn commenters play](https://revnu.com/docs/play-competitor-linkedin-commenters.md).

### People who engage with your own posts

> Every morning at 9am, check new likes and comments on our founder's LinkedIn posts, research who they are, and post a ranked shortlist of credible prospects. Contact nobody.

See the [your post engagers play](https://revnu.com/docs/play-your-post-engagers.md).

### Event speakers and sponsors, before the event

> Every Monday, check the speaker and sponsor pages of the conferences in our space in the next 60 days, add the people who fit our ICP to an Events campaign, and write an email that mentions the event.

### Event attendees, after the event

> Every Monday, find people who posted on LinkedIn about attending a conference in our space last week, add the ones in our ICP to Leads, and draft a follow-up that mentions the event.

See the [event attendees play](https://revnu.com/docs/play-event-attendees.md).

### Companies running ads on your topic

A company paying for ads has budget and a target it's trying to hit.

> Every Monday, find companies running LinkedIn ads about sales forecasting, show me their ads, and add the head of marketing at each to Leads.

### Government tenders

Public contracts list what a buyer needs and when the bid is due. Revnu reads public tender portals such as Contracts Finder, Find a Tender and SAM.gov.

> Every Monday at 8am, check UK and US public tender portals for new contracts that match what we sell, and send me a digest with the buyer, value and deadline for each.

### Newly incorporated companies

A business that just registered needs an accountant, a bank, insurance, a website and staff. Revnu reads new UK company registrations and checks each one is trading.

> Every Monday, find companies incorporated in the last 7 days in Manchester in food and drink, with the director's name, and add the ones that are really trading to a New Businesses campaign.

### Alumni and past-employer leads

> Every Thursday at 9am, find five heads of growth in London who used to work at the same companies as our founders, with verified emails, and open with the shared employer.

### Partners and affiliates

> Every Wednesday, find five newsletters, agencies or creators whose audience buys what we sell, and draft a partnership pitch with our terms for each, for my approval.

### Podcast guest spots

> Every Tuesday, find podcasts in our niche that take guests, check their recent episodes, and draft a tailored guest pitch for each for my approval.

### Press requests

> Every morning at 8:30, scan the public journalist request feeds, and post only the requests worth our founder's time, with a draft answer for each.

### Keep the lead queue full

> Every weekday at 7am, check how many leads are waiting on each approved campaign, and if any campaign has fewer than two days of sending left, find enough new leads to top it up.

## Watch the market

### Company filings and director changes

Watch a list of companies on Companies House for new filings and officers. Revnu sets a baseline on the first run and then reports what's new.

> Every morning at 8am, check these 20 UK companies on Companies House for new filings, director appointments and resignations, and tell me what changed.

### Competitor review mining

Unhappy customers of a competitor tell you exactly what to say.

> Every Monday, read the newest public reviews of our three main competitors, pull out the complaints we solve, find people at the reviewers' companies where you can, and draft outreach that answers that complaint.

See the [competitor reviews play](https://revnu.com/docs/play-competitor-reviews.md).

### Competitor ad library check

> Every Wednesday at 9am, search the Meta, Google and LinkedIn ad libraries for our competitors' ads, and report new ads, new offers and new advertisers since last week.

See the [competitor ads play](https://revnu.com/docs/play-competitor-ads.md).

### Competitor change review

> Every other Friday, check our four competitors' websites, pricing and announcements, and if anything material changed, recommend one concrete response.

### Reddit "looking for a tool" threads

> Every Monday, find Reddit threads from the last week where people ask for a tool like ours or complain about a competitor, and send me a digest with a suggested reply for each.

See the [buying intent posts play](https://revnu.com/docs/play-buying-intent-posts.md).

### X requests and mentions

> Every weekday at 8am, find X posts from the last week asking for a product like ours, plus any mention of our company, and post one digest with a draft reply of 40 words or less for each. Never post.

### Daily news in your space

> Every morning at 9am, send me the three most important news items from the last 24 hours about our competitors, our platforms and our market. Skip anything that doesn't matter to us.

### Launch comments

> Every Monday at 9am, check our Product Hunt launch for new comments and tell me which need a reply.

### Twice-weekly growth ideas

> Every Monday and Thursday at 6am, give me three specific growth plays grounded in something that happened since the last run, with the first move written out. Ideas only.

### Monthly win and loss research

With Granola or Circleback connected, Revnu reads the call notes beside each lead's history and keeps stated reasons apart from its own reading.

> On the 1st of every month, research why our won and lost deals went the way they did, from meeting notes and each lead's history, and summarise the patterns and what to change.

### Lessons from objections

> Every Friday at 11am, read the objections in this week's prospect replies and suggest one copy change backed by them. Keep the change waiting for my approval.

## Watches: act the moment something happens

### Competitor pricing page changes

> Watch Acme's pricing page and tell me the day they change their prices. If they raise them, draft an alternatives page and a switching email.

For calls booked through your website, Revnu researches the company and sends a brief before the call.

> When a new call is booked, research the company and the person, and send me a one-page brief.

> Tell me if replies stop coming in or one of our sending inboxes has trouble.

### Search clicks drop

> Watch our Google Search clicks and tell me if they fall well below normal.

See [blog posts that rank](https://revnu.com/docs/ai-written-posts.md).

### AI-visibility gap to a new post

> Every Monday, find the buyer questions where AI assistants mention competitors and not us, and write one post that answers the biggest gap.

### Daily AI mention check

> Every morning, tell me which AI assistants mention us on our tracked questions, which ones we won or lost since yesterday, and who took them instead. Report the change, not the whole picture.

See [AI visibility](https://revnu.com/docs/ai-visibility.md).

### Refresh decaying posts

> Every Monday, find our older posts whose Google clicks are falling, compare like with like, and refresh the ones that are really decaying.

### Alternatives pages plus measurement

See the [alternative pages play](https://revnu.com/docs/play-alternative-pages.md).

See [social posts](https://revnu.com/docs/social-posts.md).

### LinkedIn post report

> On the 5th of every month, open one pull request with a copy improvement to our main landing page, backed by what our results show.

## Run ads on autopilot

### Morning ads report

> Every morning at 8:45, read yesterday's spend, clicks, search terms and booked calls on every live campaign, send off-target search terms to Review to block, and give me a short rundown with what you'd pause and what you'd scale.

See [ad results](https://revnu.com/docs/ads-results.md).

### Weekly new ads from the winner

> Every Monday, rank last week's ads by cost per result and draft two new ads in the style of the winner, built paused for my approval.

### Prepared search campaigns

> Every Tuesday, research keywords for people comparing us with alternatives and keep a paused Google Search draft ready. No spend.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need to write the steps myself?

No. Send one sentence and Revnu writes the steps in plain words. Edit any step on the workflow's page, or tell Revnu what to change.

### Will a workflow send emails or spend money without asking?

Sending follows your approval settings, and spending money, replies to prospects, booking links and gifts always wait for your yes. Add "for my approval" or "don't send" to any recipe to keep that step on hold. See [approvals](https://revnu.com/docs/approvals.md).

### What's the difference between a workflow and a watch?

A workflow runs on a schedule, such as every Monday at 9am. A watch checks every few minutes and acts the moment something happens, such as a competitor changing their prices.

### Can I run several of these at once?

Yes. Each recipe becomes its own workflow or watch, and every one is listed under **Workflows**, or in chat when you ask "what are you watching?".

### Can Revnu suggest workflows for me?

Yes. When you ask for the same work twice, Revnu sets it up as a workflow and tells you in one line, with a link.

### What sources can these recipes read?

Revnu's own data network of people and companies, company websites and job boards, public registries and tender portals, LinkedIn, Reddit and X posts, public reviews, ad libraries, your connected inboxes, ad accounts, Search Console and meeting notes, and your own Revnu results.
