# YC and Startup Program Deals > The YC deal terms by batch, what's included (a growth engineer and your own Slack channel), how to redeem on Bookface, how to get the deal onto the account you actually use, what is charged and when, and how to end it. The deal includes a growth engineer from our team and your own Slack channel with us. You redeem it on Bookface. Today YC is the only startup program with a Revnu deal. ## How do I redeem the YC deal? ### 1. Redeem it on Bookface Open the [Revnu deal on Bookface](https://bookface.ycombinator.com/deals/18135) and press **Redeem Deal**. ### 2. Open the email from yc@revnu.com George sends you an email from yc@revnu.com. It has a sign-in link and names the email to use: the one on your Bookface account. ### 3. Sign in with your Bookface email Revnu opens on the website screen with your company's site filled in. Claim your credits The card step shows your free months as credits. Press **Claim … in Credits** (the button shows the amount) and save a card on the Stripe page. The line under the button says "$0 today · Cancel anytime". Nothing is charged that day. ### 5. Connect Slack or iMessage Pick where Revnu lives, and you're live. > **Note:** "Cancel anytime" means you can end the deal whenever you like by writing to yc@revnu.com. There's no Cancel button in **Settings** on a deal account. The deal runs on our Managed plan, which is why the growth engineer is part of it. See [Pro vs Managed](/docs/plans). - **Your own Slack channel** with Revnu and your growth engineer, where you approve the work and hear what moved. - **Live within a day.** Your buyers researched and the first outreach drafted for your review, the day you start. Your batch is read from Bookface when you redeem, and that sets your tier for good. ## Why is the deal not showing on my account? The deal belongs to the email you redeemed with on Bookface. If you see a paywall asking you to pay for Pro, you're almost always signed in with a different email. > **Warning:** Don't pay for Pro to get in. Write to yc@revnu.com first. - **Sign in with your Bookface email.** That's where the deal is waiting. - **You already had a Revnu account before you redeemed?** The deal goes onto that account. The email from yc@revnu.com tells you which one. - **You signed up with a work email at your company's domain?** If it matches your website and you haven't set up the deal account yet, the deal moves to your account when you enter the site. - **Anything else**, like a personal email, or two accounts for one company: write to yc@revnu.com with both emails and we move the deal for you. ## When am I charged, and how much? Nothing on the day you add your card. The first charge is when your free months end, at 50% off. Full price starts after year one. **Settings > Account** shows the exact dates: **Free until** a date, then the half-price amount until a date, then the full monthly price. About a week before your first charge, and again before full price starts, we email you a reminder. ## Does the deal lock me in for a year? No. It's billed month by month, with nothing paid up front. There's no annual contract. To end the deal or change your plan, write to yc@revnu.com, or press **Talk to Us About Your Plan** in **Settings > Account**, and we end it for you. YC-deal accounts don't have a Cancel button in Settings. ### What's billed if I cancel partway through? Nothing after the deal ends. The deal is a monthly plan with a discount on each month, so ending it stops the next monthly charge, and you don't owe the rest of year one. - **Cancel during your free months** and nothing is ever charged. - **Cancel during the half-price months** and the months already charged aren't refunded, except where the law requires it. Write to yc@revnu.com, or press Talk to Us About Your Plan in Settings > Account. Deal accounts have no Cancel button, so "Cancel anytime" on the card step means asking us. ### Is the growth engineer included in the YC deal? Yes. The deal runs on our Managed plan, which includes a forward-deployed growth engineer from our team. ### I redeemed with one email and signed in with another. What do I do? Sign in with the email on your Bookface account. If you need the deal on a different email, write to yc@revnu.com with both addresses and we move it. ### Am I charged when I add my card for the YC deal? No. The card step charges $0 that day. Your first charge is when the free months end, and Settings > Account shows the date. ### Do other accelerators get a Revnu deal? YC is the startup program with a Revnu deal today.
