```bash
curl -X PATCH -H "Authorization: Bearer $REVNU_API_TOKEN" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"body":"Call went well. They want a proposal for 25 seats by Friday."}' \
```

## Body

`{ "body": "…" }`: the new text, up to 4,000 characters. Any other field is a `400`.

## Response

`200 { "note": { id, kind, body, deal, author, authorName, source, createdAt, editedAt } }`, with `editedAt` set. `404` for an unknown note, a deal stage change (`kind: deal`) or another account's lead. `409` for a note your team or your Revnu agent wrote: only notes with `author: api` can be changed here.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can any token edit any API note?

Any token on your account with `leads:write` can edit a note another of your tokens wrote. `authorName` keeps the label of the token that wrote it.

### Which scope does this need?

`leads:write`. A token without it gets `403` with `requiredScope` in the body.
