```bash
curl -X DELETE -H "Authorization: Bearer $REVNU_API_TOKEN" \
  https://revnu.com/api/v1/leads/sn7…
```

## Response

`200 { "deleted": true, "domain" }`. `404` for an unknown or another account's lead. `409` with the reason when the lead is kept, for example: Revnu has contacted it or is working on it, it has an open deal (a lost one doesn't count), notes, or more than 10 deal changes on its timeline, a started sequence, an email to it was queued or sent, it has any gift order, or it came from your customer list. Mark those Not a Fit with [`POST /leads/{id}/handling`](https://revnu.com/docs/lead-take-over.md) instead.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can a deleted lead come back?

It is archived, not erased; support can restore it. Revnu may also find the company again in later research.

### Which scope does this need?

`leads:write`. A token without it gets `403` with `requiredScope` in the body.
